Great birthday celebration few days

The room was excellent and very well equipped. The stay was very good.The pudding club was fantastic as usual.The staff were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble,we really loved the cream tea. We have too say all the food was excellent.We will be back!!

Fabulous Sunday lunch!! Will definitely be going back for more

Six of us went for late Sunday afternoon lunch, we’re all locals but hadn’t tried the food here for some time. We all had excellent meals, most of us three courses & it was all exceptional, as was the service!!

I had venison carpaccio with rocket & Parmesan followed by succulent chicken breast with creamy greens & dauphinoise, but swapped sauce for regular gravy. They even gave me a Yorkshire too! Then had as much as you can eat from Pudding Club trolley, Syrup Sponge, spotted dick, Jam & coconut or sticky ginger sponge, all with lashings of custard!!!!

All for less than £30 per head. So lucky to have a few very good places to eat in our small Cotswold village, will certainly be going back again very soon
