Things to Do in The Cotswolds

There are lots of things to do in the area and many things to keep you busy in the hotel too! You can attend a meeting of the world famous Pudding Club®, attend a Chocolate Workshop and lunch or stay overnight on one of the Divine Twenty Four Hour Chocolate Experiences!

Bee Keeping

Chris Wells is a renowned Bee Keeper in the North Cotswolds his Bee Keeping courses are held close to the hotel, book on one of his courses and stay here on a special rate, (subject to availability). Cycling

If you bring your own bike we have secure bike storage, or you can hire one from www.cotswoldcountrycycles.com their bikes are suitable for Cross Country whilst stylish Pashley Cycles can be hired from www.traditionalcycleshop.co.uk in Stratford upon Avon. Exhibitions

The NEC hosts many exhibitions during the year including Crufts, the BBC Good Food Show, Gardner’s World, the NEC is a 40 minute drive from here.

Festivals

During the year there are various concerts and festivals in The Cotswolds including the Chipping Campden Literary and Music Festivals, the Stratford upon Avon Literary Festival.

Golf

Enjoy a round of golf at the Broadway Golf Club, the 18 hole course of 6228 yards and par 72 provides a good test of golf for all abilities, and has an inland links feel due to the rolling fairways and contoured greens. It's a pleasant 15 minute drive from Mickleton.

Longborough Festival Opera

Held every summer, the opera at Longborough is a lovely event, stay with us in Mickleton and pre-order your picnic with us to enjoy in style at Longborough.

Motor Sport

The Shakespeare Raceway is just 5 minutes from the hotel, they have a range of adrenalin fuelled motor sport events during the season! www.shakespearecountyraceway.com

If you are a hill climb fan then Prescott is just the place for you! www.bugatti.co.uk just a 30 minute drive from here. Whilst www.silverstone.co.uk is closer than you might think – 40 minutes away.

The Cotswolds is a great place to do a bit of shopping! There is a wealth of individual shops close by in Chipping Campden and Broadway, Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the Wold and Stratford upon Avon.

Theatre
